Dear Noor,

I hope this email finds you well.

As discussed, I wanted to share the responsibilities that fall under
the floater position.

Before that I would like to remind you that you are due to renew your
Police background check.

I will have you complete the application in the first week of your start
back (week of January 8). Please send us two pieces of ID for the
application. Please note the cost is 80.00$ and we deduct it from your
salary cheque.

*Responsibilities of a Floater*

1. Take the role of Second educator in the classroom with more children -
so day to day see the number of children per class and be the second
educator where there are more children than ratio.

2. Replace Ms. Marnie if all Ratio is exact. (5 children in poupon, 8
children in tots, and 8 children in Bigs class)

3. At 11 replace Ms. Marnie so she can serve lunch

4. Assist with lunch (feeding children, clean up of the tables floors etc).
Assist for nap (poupon and tots - start with the most challenging group or
children)

5. Break replacement starts at 1 pm

1 pm Ms Marnie
1:30 Ms Krystel


6. 2:00 to 4:00/4:30 - Replace Taz in BIGS class (Speak to Taz for what is
expected to be done in her class)

Normally the BIGS routine is
2:00 - Oversee nap time routine - assist children etc.
2:30 - Bathroom routine, putting away nap bedding
3:00 - Afternoon snack
3:30 - Centers play 92 to 3 children per center)
4:00 - clean up class and send your children to Ms. Marnie's class. You can
finish at 13 kids so sometimes it might be that you finish at 4:30 or an
educator will come replace you


As a second educator in the classroom, we expect you to follow and
implement the program the homeroom educator has in place. When replacing
Ms. Marnie, please ask her expectations and communicate any individual
child related day to day development with her.

Also you can assist with writing the agendas especially for poupon when
there are more than 5 in the classroom.
