Hello!

We chatted on Instagram near the end of January about music for children
and you mentioned I could call or email. Today is a snow day and so it's a
perfect day for email, lol!

I am a children's singer/songwriter who records under the stage name
"Heather Feather" and I own WeeJam music in Beaconsfield, which I started
back in 2017. I work six days a week teaching and performing almost
exclusively for ages 5 and under, and I LOVE what I do! I have a PhD in
Music Theory and at one time taught at the university level, but I switched
careers when I started my own family and have never looked back.

I teach in English and include French as requested by each of the daycare,
preschools, and parents and include music and movement, learning to
perform, read, and write music through Orff, Suzuki, and my own methods
(developed with a broad understanding of music theory and composition
through to teaching at the graduate level). I currently service CPE du
campus (McGill, Ste Anne), CPE petits profs (Concordia, NDG), Solomon
Schechter Academy's Amiel Centre (Hampstead), Magic Circle Preschool
(Beaconsfield), Pierrefonds Community Program Preschool
(Pierrefonds-Roxboro), and teach Parent & Child Music in my own hom studio,
WeeJam, in Beaconsfield. I have been to many other centres for one-time
classes and performances, whenever I have a day off from one of regular
contracts, and this is also a lot of fun.

If you are interested in music for Garderie Kiddy Kat I'd love to chat! A
single visit can look like one session of 45 minutes with everyone in
attendance, or up to 4 or 5 shorter sessions with each age group, going
room to room.

Thanks so much, and I wish you the very best,
Heather
