The story begins with glassblowers heating a molten glass ball at the tip= of a metal rod. The heat in the workshop is extremely hot because of the furnaces necessar= y for the melting of the glass for your bottle. The glassblowers often wor= k in tank tops in spite of the frequent burns with the glass masses=2C but= you can be sure that a passionate artist will stop at nothing! Neither the heat nor the risks of the trade can diminish the good mood and= the mischievous spirit that reigns near the furnaces... Creativity in its PUREST form=2C the artists are thrilled... They are excited about a new project where they get to test all sorts of d= ifferent bottle shapes? TERRIFIC!!! Different samples and models are tested by the artists before moving on to= the "artisanal" pre-production stage which will allow us to validate all= the technical details. Your bottles are initially mouth-blown in a wooden mold to allow for the m= ock-up and approval of the samples. This operation sometimes requires several trials to arrive at a perfect fo= rmula. The wooden mold will not withstand more than 6 to 8 samples due to the hea= t of the molten glass. These handmade samples are very expensive=2C and would not permit the real= ization of gifts with a "reasonable" production cost. Nevertheless=2C such productions remain an available option for very speci= al projects requiring unique pieces or limited series such as for a specia= l event=2C or a signature gift. In order to create an affordable micro-production=2C a metal mold will be= required. This additional=2C very expensive=2C solid metal mold will allow for a pro= duction that meets the strictest sanitary requirements necessary for the h= ot bottling of maple syrup at a relatively reasonable cost. And finally=2C here we are with a tailor-made bottle for your corporate gi= fts! We are bringing back to life our SHABINA model which was discontinued in 2= 012 and which has been eagerly sought after ever since. This would be a real shame after all that work! Each bottle is then placed in the sandblasting chamber=2C and engraved one= at a time. This is a delicate step=2C because the engraving has to be deep enough to= allow for the interesting relief that only sandblasting allows=2C while t= aking great care not to pierce the bottle=2C or else the whole chamber wil= l have to be cleaned=2C which our craftsmen don't like. .... It would seem that it can become VERY sticky when mixed with the abrasives= of the sandblast and quite long to clean... ;) After the engraving=2C comes the PAINTING! The company's identity finally starts to take shape on the bottle! To guarantee the most uniform results possible=2C the first coat of paint= is done with a paint sprayer after the drying stage=2C the second coat is= done by hand. And that's it! Now your bottle is engraved and painted! Is this the end of the adventure? NOPE!!! First you have to remove the plastic protection and peel off the overlay. And then the most "fun" step... cleaning everything! Afterwards=2C the bottles are carefully sealed by hand with wax and packag= ed to ensure that you receive them in perfect condition for the enjoyment= of your clients and employees. .... The sto= ry begins with glassblowers heating a molten glass ball at the tip of a me= tal rod.

The heat in the workshop is extremely hot because of t= he furnaces necessary for the melting of the glass for your bottle. The gl= assblowers often work in tank tops in spite of the frequent burns with the= glass masses=2C but you can be sure that a passionate artist will stop at= nothing!


Neither the heat nor the risks of the trade can diminish t= he good mood and the mischievous spirit that reigns near the furnaces...

They are excited about a new project where they get to test a= ll sorts of different bottle shapes?

TERRIFIC!!!

Dif= ferent samples and models are tested by the artists before moving on to th= e "artisanal" pre-production stage which will allow us to validate all the= technical details.




Your bottles are initially mouth-blown in a wooden mo= ld to allow for the mock-up and approval of the samples.

This operation sometimes requires several trials to arrive at a perfect= formula.

The wooden mold will not withstan= d more than 6 to 8 samples due to the heat of the molten glass.

These handmade samples are very expensive=2C and would not permit the rea= lization of gifts with a "reasonable" production cost.


Nevertheless= =2C such productions remain an available option for very special projects= requiring unique pieces or limited series such as for a special event=2C= or a signature gift.

Once the bottle is prod= uced and filled=2C the bottle is ready to be engraved!

This fin= al touch makes all the difference between commercial products and your per= sonalized gifts which become pieces of art while simultaneously being a sw= eet delicacy.

A permeable film is produced w= ith the company logo=2C and carefully placed by hand on each bottle.


CAUTION !!!!



After applying the film=2C the entire bottle is cover= ed with a special protector=2C otherwise the sandblast would leave unwante= d scratches on the bottle...




This would be a real shame= after all that work!

Each bottle is then placed in the= sandblasting chamber=2C and engraved one at a time.

This is a= delicate step=2C because the engraving has to be deep enough to allow for= the interesting relief that only sandblasting allows=2C while taking grea= t care not to pierce the bottle=2C or else the whole chamber will have to= be cleaned=2C which our craftsmen don't like. ....



= It would seem that it can be= come VERY sticky when mixed with the abrasives of the sandblast and quite= long to clean... ;)

After the engraving=2C comes the PAINTING!


The company's identity finally starts to take shape on the bottl= e!

To guarantee the most uniform results possible=2C the first= coat of paint is done with a paint sprayer after the drying stage=2C the= second coat is done by hand.
